Tea Description

Tie Guan Yin is a premium variety of Chinese oolong tea that originated in the 19th century in Anxi in Fujian province, where the mountainous terrain provides the perfect mixture of high altitude, moisture and rich soil to grow this tea. Tie Guan Yin is Chinese for Iron Goddess of Mercy, Iron Buddha or Tea of the Iron Bodhisattva. You may find it spelled differently such as Ti Kuan Yin or Ti Kwan Yin.

The processing of Tieguanyin tea is complex and requires expertise. Even if the tea leaf is of high raw quality and is plucked at the ideal time, if it is not processed correctly, its true character will not be shown. This is why the method of processing Tieguanyin tea was kept a secret.

Tea Leaves of our Tie Guan Yin are rolled into large jade-green pearls or granules with small chestnut brown stems and smell of lovely flowery orchids. Delicate and smooth, Tie Guan Yin combines a flowery fragrance with a natural sweetness that is unique to this type of tea.

When brewed, the first infusion has a striking and unmistakably distinctive orchid fragrance. The color of the infusion is clear and bright gold. Its flavor is nothing short of pleasurable: sweet, super fine and long-lasting. Even the aftertaste of this organic hand-rolled oolong is sweet. As with all great quality oolong teas, Tie Guan Yin is a tea that may be reinfused several times.

Beautiful legends surround the origin of this Chinese tea. Enjoyed by emperors in the beginning it may be enjoyed by you today.

In addition, our teas are directly from our factory, thus are fresher than those offered by other traders. Good quality leads to better sales and less complaints;
We also do OEM for your own brand, including TEA + PACKAGES according to your demand.
As we sell big quantities to overseas, the tea quality and pesticide are under control, and such are the average prime cost, which is very competitive.
