What is the advantages of UHMWPE ( Ultra High Moleculer Poly Ethilen ) Fiber?
The braid structure developed for the purposes of the orthopedic surgery.UHMWPE ( Ultra High Moleculer Weight Poliethilen)meterial and our special design of braiding will icreases the performance and transportation characteristics of the suture.Our fiber sutures provides resistance to tighter knot and knot tear during bonding.The low knot profile of the seam allows precise knot placement and smooth bond.We use UHMWPE Fiber sutre,which is braide with special design for provide strong and durable meterial.
Specifications
Choosing appropriate suture size is imperative to prevent wound dehiscence (use of too small a suture material) and promote proper wound healing (increased tissue reaction with larger suture materials causes more inflammation and slower healing).Use of the smallest suture that approximates the tissue's own tensile strength is ideal.Furthermore,larger suture is more difficult to handle and tie.Suture sizes are described most commonly using the USP (United States Pharmacopeia) denotation.Using this system,sutures diameter is described from 11-0 (smallest) to 7 (largest).

Suture material can be classified as either absorbable or non absorbable.Absorbable sutures don’t require your doctor to remove them.This is because enzymes found in the tissues of your body naturally digest them.Non absorbable sutures will need to be removed by your doctor at a later date or in some cases left in permanently.And UHMWPE Sutures is non absorbable sutures
Sterilization:Ethylene oxide (EtO)
Important: Gamma sterilization is not recommended for Suture due to potential loss of suture strength.
