8mm Laminated Glass

Laminated glass consists of a tough protective interlayer made of polyvinyl butyral (PVB) bonded between two panes of glass under heat and pressure. Once sealed together, the glass "sandwich" behaves as a single unit and looks like normal glass. Annealed, heat strengthened or tempered glass can be used to produce laminated glass.

Laminated glass may crack upon impact, but the glass fragments held by the protective interlayer rather than falling free and potentially causing injury.

Laminated glass is the only glass to provide durability, high-performance and multi-functional benefits while at the same time preserving the aesthetic appearance of the glass.

Laminated glass furnishes solutions to many architectural design problems and offers increased protection from the effects of disasters such as hurricane, earthquake and hail storm etc.

Laminated glass is available in various glass thickness and interlayer combinations. The most common are:
8.38mm (1/4") = 4mm (1/8") glass + 0.38mm (. 015") interlayer P. V. B. + 4mm (1/8") glass
8.76mm (1/4") = 4mm (1/8") glass + 0.76mm (. 030") interlayer P. V. B. + 4mm (1/8") glass
9.52mm (1/4") = 4mm (1/8") glass + 1.52mm (. 060") interlayer P. V. B. + 4mm (1/8") glass

Other combinations of glass/interlayer are available upon request.
Both clear and tinted laminated glass are available.

Laminated glass is normally supplied in standard sizes but custom sizes are also available

Normal size: 3300*2140, 3660*2140, 3660*2440, 1840*2440, 1830*1220, 1650*2200, 915*1830. Etc

Tinted laminated glass in different color like white, white translucent, red, blue, green, bronze, black, grey color etc...
Color laminated glass mainly has two types, one is clear glass laminates color PVB interlayer, another one is color glass laminates clear PVB. Most of color laminated glass use color PVB interlayer to laminate clear float glass or clear tempered glass
