Hydra Dermabrasion Basics
A Hydra Dermabrasion consists of four basic steps that are quick and painless. 1st Step- Cleansing and exfoliation. Our aesthetic technicians use a small deplaning tool to open clogged pores and cleanse away layers of makeup debris and dead skin cells. The sensation is similar to a spinning brush being gently applied to the face.
2nd Step - Chemical peel. While many glycolic acid peels can leave the skin stinging for several minutes until washed away and leave the skin tender and red, ours does not. Our peel is designed to be gentle enough that our patients only experience a mild tingling.
3rd Step - Extraction. This part of the Hydra Dermabrasion involves the extraction of all foreign substances from the pores using an advanced vortex extraction nozzle similar to a vacuum. This is superior to previous methods of manual extractions performed by hand by technicians that were slow and inefficient. Many patients are astounded when shown how many contaminants were withdrawn from their skin during the extraction process.
4th Step - Application of serum. The vortex fusion tool is again used in this step of the Hydra Dermabrasion to infuse a custom antioxidant and collagen rich serum into the skin that is designed to promote hydration and elasticity.
