If dissolved oxygen is too low, normal metabolic activities of aerobic organisms will drop; activated sludge will be black and stink. And thus its ability to deal with pollutants reduced and the dissolved oxygen concentration is too low, filamentous bacteria are also easy to breed, produce sludge bulking, affect water quality. In order to ensure the treatment effect of aerobic microorganisms, aeration tank outlet mixture concentration should be maintained at 2mg/L.
