Method of use
- Adjust the pH of the paint with ammonia so that it reaches 8-9
- Thickener 635 with water at a 1:1 ratio
- Slowly add the diluted Thickener 635 at low speed, mixing with ammonia to maintain the paint pH at 8-9
- While stirring while measuring the changes in paint viscosity, reach the specified viscosity, stop adding thickener
Storage
Storage precautions: avoid freezing - product stability may be affected. Stir well before use.

The Thickener 635 is recommended for use in interior wall coatings to improve the flow and leveling of coatings compared to cellulosic thickeners and to reduce the cost of raw materials. The Thickener 635 can be used in exterior wall coatings, but because the product contains anion structures, we recommend that formulators take care to minimize the likelihood of blistering. For higher water resistance, we recommend the use of the non-ionic polyurethane rheological modifier.
