HC-280 Autonomous Helicopter adopts a coaxial rotor layout, model-based robust control algorithm, auto adapting gust, the changing temperature, load, center of gravity. To ensure flight accuracy and reliability under complicated conditions, HC-280 can operate fully autonomous takeoff, landing and planned flight, and can carry out the control of position, speed, and altitude, for stable and reliable flight. It has a maximum payload of 100 kg and can be equipped with aerial equipment such as aerial photography, aerial survey, airborne radar, and nuclear radiation detector. The ground control station can execute the data monitoring and load equipment control to the helicopter. The HC-280 unmanned helicopter has been maturely applied in the fields of aerial mapping, nuclear radiation monitoring, and military reconnaissance and surveillance.
