It is a high-tech research and development platform for product restructuring and industrial transformation and upgrading of Shandong Henglian New Materials Co., Ltd.The company's business scope is the production and sale of cellulose film and series of cellulose functional film materials;processing and Sale of Raw and Auxiliary Materials for Cellulose film Materials;Technology Development, Technology Transfer, Technical Consultation and Technical Services of Cellulose film Materials.The company has products such as "KH-NILCELL®" cellulose film, "KH-NILCELL®" cellulose tape, ionic liquids, N-methylimidazole,and has 14 patents for invention in China, 6 patents for utility models in China ,authorized one patent from the United States and one patent from Japan.
In 2011, Shandong Henglian New Materials Co., Ltd. began to cooperate with the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences to develop a new cleaner production process of regenerated cellulose films using ionic liquids as solvents.This state-of-the-art technology has been supported by the Government of Shandong Province as the demonstration project on Industrialization of Clean Production for Regenerated Cellulose Films (Cellophane) since 2015, the Program of Taishan Industry Leading Talents (Shangdong Province) since 2015, and the Program of Yuandu Industry Leading Talents (Weifang City, Shangdong Province) since 2016. After five years of research and development, the technology of regenerated cellulose film preparation using ionic liquids as solvent has been broken through, and a technical system with independent intellectual property rights and a 10,000-ton industrialization process software package have been formed, which has the industrialization conditions.In order to speed up the industrialization process , the two sides registered Shandong ICCAS-Henglian Biobased Material Co., Ltd. in January 2017,planning to build a biodegradable green bio-cellulose film project with an annual output of 30,000 tons.
