Pure Quality Rising Epoxy Dampness Blocker

  • The concrete floor sealing product is a transparent solvent-free system with strong adhesive and sealing properties. The product is applied on surfaces that require protection or it can also act as a primer for surfaces that are two be coated with epoxy and PU flooring products. The product has a honey-like texture and is suitable for application on porous surfaces such as concrete and cement.
  • If thicker coats are to be applied on top, broadcasting quartz sand is recommended to give the surface extra grit
  • When working with other types of surfaces that are less porous (such as metal, bitumen, marble etc) we recommend to use a thinner product like KTISEPOX HYDRO PR
  • The product can be mixed with quartz sand to form an epoxy mortar and can also be used as a patching grout

Additional Info

  • Estimated Consumption: Expect to consume 150-250 gr/m² of KTISEPOX PR SOLVENT FREE per layer. Actual consumption may vary depending on the quality of the substrate.
  • Packaging: available in fixed sets (A+B) of 10kg and 5kg
  • Colors Available: Transparent

Rapidcure Primer is a 2-component fast curing epoxy primer system with the following properties:

  • Cures even at 0 degrees Celsius
  • Solves problems with wet spots and rising dampness
  • Ready for re-coating in 3-4 hours (room temperature conditions)
  • Suitable for both Epoxy and Polyurethane Floor Coatings

The product can be applied on a variety of surfaces such as concrete industrial floors, cement mortar surfaces, and old epoxy surfaces, etc. It cures within a few hours thus allowing the next layer of coating to be added very soon. The product is compatible with all our Epoxy and PU based floor coatings. This product has shown very good bonding to moist surfaces as well as surfaces where rising dampness is present.

  • As the product is quite thick, the addition of thinner (xylene) up to 10% is recommended for surfaces that lack pores
  • When using the product as a dampness or moisture blocker 2-3 coats are recommended for ideal results.

RAPID CURE PRIMER

  • 2-component fast curing epoxy primer system with strong anti-osmotic properties

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

  • RAPID CURE PRIMER can be applied on a variety of surfaces such as concrete industrial floors, cement mortar surfaces, and old epoxy surfaces etc. It cures within a few hours thus allowing the next layer of coating to be added very soon. The product is compatible with most epoxy and PU based floor coatings. The product has shown very good bonding to moist surfaces as well as surfaces where rising dampness is present.

SURFACE PREPARATION

  • Thorough surface preparation is critical in order to ensure maximum adhesion and optimal results. The substrate should be grinded by mechanical means. Acceptable methods are diamond- or stone grinding machines, sand-blasting, shot blasting etc. Before applying primer the surface must be free of loose material. Although the product has shown some ability to bond to oily surfaces, we recommend that oily surfaces are cleaned first.

Preparing RAPIDCURE PRIMER

  • The mixing of the two materials needs to be consistent (with a mixer) and should last for at least 2 minutes at 300rpm. Poor mixing can lead to improper curing of the material.
  • As the product is quite thick, the addition of thinner (xylene) up to 10% is recommended for surfaces that lack pores.

Applying RAPIDCURE PRIMER

  • Apply the product either with a brush or with a roller. If the surface seems to absorb all the primer immediately it is recommended that the process is repeated.
Expect to consume 150 - 200 gr/m² of RAPID CURE PRIMER per layer. Actual consumption may vary depending on the quality of the substrate.
When using the product as a dampness or moisture blocker 2-3 coats are recommended for ideal results.

Safety Precautions

  • When applying RAPID CURE PRIMER indoors or in basements ensure that the room is suitably ventilated.
