The Spray drying is the technology most widely used in the liquid technology shaping and in the drying industry.The drying technology is most suitable for producing solid powder or particle products from liquid materials,such as:solution, emulsion, suspension and pumpable paste states,For this reason,when the particle size and distribution of the final products, residual water contents, mass density and the particle shape must meet the precise standard, spray drying is one of the most desired technologies

 Principle

 

After been filtered and heated the air enters into the air distrbutor on the top of the dryer.The hot air enters into the drying room in the spiral form and uniformly. Passing through the high-speed centrifugal sprayer on the top of the tower,the material liquid will rotate and be sprayed into the extremely fine mist liquid beads.Trough the very short time of contacting the heat air,the materials can be dried into the final products.The final products will be discharged continuously from the bottom of the drying tower and from the cyclones. The waste gas will be discharged from blower.

 

 Features.

 For the LPG series high speed centrifugal spray dryer ,it consists of of liquid delivery system,air filtering and heating system , liquid atomizing system ,drying chamber system , air exhausting and material collecting system ,control system and so on , the feature for each system as bellow:

1.The liquid delivery system consists of liquid tank , magnetic filter , pump and so on as to ensure the liquid enter into the atomizer smoothly . 

2.Air filtering system and heating system

  Before the fresh air enter into the heater , it should pass through the Pre&post filter first , and then enter into the heater for heating . For the heating method , there are electrical heater ,steam readiator , gas furnace and so on . Which method is suitable depends on the customer site condition . As to ensure the drying medium enter into the drying chamber with high purity ,the heated air should go through the High efficiency filter before enter into the drying chamber .

3.Atomizing system

The atomizing system consists of high speed centrifugal atomizer with inverter and so on .

 The powder from the high speed centrifugal atomizer is between 40-120 micron.

4. Drying Chamber system

 The drying chamber consists of the spiral shell ,hot air distributor ,main tower and relevant fittings .

The Spiral shell and hot air distributor:the spiral shell and hot air distributor at the air inlet of the tower top can regulate air flow rotation angle according to the different condition.and effectively guide the air flow inside the tower  and avoid the material stick on the wall .in the middle there is the position for installing the atomizer.

 

Drying tower : The inner wall is SUS mirror sheet, ad welded by the arc welding . The insulation is  rock wool.

The tower is manhole and view port as to convenient to clean and maintain the tower. For the Tower body cross interface, pipe elbow are arc butt design, reduce dead angle; sealed type.

 The main tower is equipped with air hammer , controlled by the pulse ,and hitting the main drying tower timely as to avoid the dust stick on the wall

5.Air exhausting and product collecting system

 For the material collecting system , there are several types . Such as cyclone , Pulse cyclone+bag filter , bag filter , cyclone +water scrubber and so on .the method is depending on the material property itself. For the filtering system for the outlet air , we have filter on request .

6.Control system

HMI+PLC , each parameter can be displayed on the screen . Every parameter can be controlled  and recorded easily

Performance description and characteristics of spray dryer

1,Feed system

It is composed of screw pump and feed pipe and valve.

The screw pump adopts frequency conversion speed regulation to effectively control the feed quantity. The main part of the pipeline valve is SUS304 stainless steel, and it is clean and sanitary

2,Medium circulation system

It is composed of blower, draft fan, muffler, air regulating butterfly valve and wind pipe

Draft fan and blower are high quality manufacturers supply, cooperation for many years, quality is stable; the blower for SUS304 stainless steel, to ensure clean air; fan with a silencer, effectively reduce the noise. The system volume, wind pressure, wind speed, is the key, based on years of experience, is now mature.

3,Air heating and cleaning system

It consists of early, medium and high temperature HEPA filters, fans, steam radiators, electric heaters, etc.

The heat source is a steam radiator and an electric heater. The material is made of stainless steel pipes and stainless steel fins. The utility model not only ensures the cleanness of the air inlet system, but also has high thermal efficiency and can guarantee the output heat

4,Drying tower system

It is composed of a dry main tower, a hot air distributor, an atomizer, an observation manhole, a tower lighting device, a pneumatic hammer, a lower bin, a cylinder body and a cone jacket, and a cooling system

This system is the core system

1, combined with the test experience, we in the design process of the main tower of the main tower: adjust the straight cylinder height to diameter ratio, adjusted by 0.9:1 routine to about 1.1:1; prolong the retention time of the material, the drying effect is ensured. The adjustment of the taper cone tower, consists of a conventional 60 degree angle adjustment to 54 degrees, fully considering the smooth material in the cone when feeding.

2, the atomizer atomizer using frequency converter to adjust the speed to achieve the best effect. The base will reduce the atomizing atomizer, the atomizing disk atomizer and increase the distance, the droplets in the air can not be returned under the spinning top, in order to ensure the normal operation of the system.

3, design a set of Taneiduo lighting devices and 1 doors, manholes.

4, hot air vortex shell tower by accelerating structure, the hot air in the tower when pressed material effectively, orderly and swirl decreased. Hot air distributor with the characteristics and requirements of the technology, do both sides distributor the wind guiding mechanism, and can adjust the angle, in order to control the hot air into the tower when the tangential angle.

5, the main tower design of jacket cooling cooling system: to avoid the main tower body wall temperature is too high and the receiving effect of the adsorption tower in the cone wall material by high temperature and coking softening phenomenon, ensure the quality of the materials.

5,Product collection system

The utility model is composed of a cyclone separator and a water film dust collector

6,Cold desiccant charging system

It is composed of air filter, freezing dehumidifier, cleaning pipe and so on. The system sends the fresh air to the clean area and collects the cooling air after the filtered fresh air passes through the refrigeration dehumidifier.

7,Other auxiliary system

Are well-known manufacturers of supply, reliable performance; some pipes take into account a certain angle design, the use of suppression stainless steel pipe, to avoid the end material, blocking material, and local resistance is too large, affecting the phenomenon of material delivery.
