 Description 

Large caliber prepaid cold water meter (split cast steel DN50 or above, is hereinafter referred to as "large caliber prepaid water meter" )with RF card as information carrier( control box and electric control valve need to be installed ) is a water metering instrument which has settlement function.It adopts lithium battery, does not need external power supply, low power consumption, internal lithium battery can be used for more than three years under conventional conditions, and is not subject to installation conditions. This product can be compatible with our company's small caliber prepaid water meter system, easy to manage.

           One---The display function

Can display the water information such as "remainder" and "overdraft" by pressing the "display" button or inserting the "user card". When recharging to the meter,the "water purchase" information can be displayed. State information such as "open valve", "off valve", and "plug-in / return card" are displayed at the same time.

 

Two--Water-purchasing and recharging function

After recharging and inserting the user card, the control box adds the amount of purchased water to the original residual water to form a new residual water amount.

 

Three--Water input restriction function

The hoarding limit is set in the RF card cold water meter. When the sum of the amount of water purchased in the user card and the remaining water in the meter is greater than the set hoarding limit, the user card recharge operation is not accepted.

 

           Four--Query function

The user can query the water quantity information through the"Display" button on the control box or inserting the"User Card" .

 

Five--Closing valve and payment function

Large-caliber prepaid water meter can set alarm quantity and overdraft limit. When the remaining water in the meter reaches the alarm quantity, the valve automatically closes to remind the user that the remaining water in the meter is not much. At this point, after inserting the user card into the meter then the valve opens. When the remaining amount of water reaches the overdraft limit, the valve is automatically closed, and inserting the card cannot make the valve open. Customers need to hold user card to water supply management department to buy water. When the remaining water quantity to be recharged is greater than the overdraft limit, the valve can be opened.

 Installation and use conditions

1.Base meter and DC control valve

         The base meter and DC control valve of large caliber prepaid water meter are installed in the meter well, and the electric control valve is installed behind the water meter.

2.Control box

      It is recommended to install indoors if conditions permit and to meet the following requirements:

         working environment temperature: -10-40 ℃ 

         working environment relative humidity: Max 75% 

3,In the process of construction and hiding wire, RS 485 communication line should be reserved 1.5 meters in the well and 50 cm in the control box.
