Product Description

 WEC-71161 wireless data collector DTU(WIFI) is developed and made by our company which can collect data of 32 meters in maximum. Data collector DTU reads meter’s data through its RS485 communication and uploads the data to the server through the wireless network(WIFI) to achieve the effect of remote monitoring. The data collector can receive commands from server and perform related operations.

 

This product uses high performance industrial grade wireless communication module (WIFI) and has RS485 interface. The product bears features of high reliability, stable performance, long service life, small volume, light weight, low power consumption and easy operation, etc. It is widely used in electricity measurement and electricity utilization auto management sector of communication industry.

 

Functions

 

1. Data collection

    Through the RS485 interface, various data of electricity meters can be collected in real time with time scale, including voltage, current, active power, reactive power, active power, reactive power, power factors, etc.

 

2. Data storage

    It supports the storage of electricity meter frozen power data for 31 days and frozen power data for 12 months.

 

3. Data upload

    Use wireless public network to upload the collected electricity meter data. Wireless transmission Wifi.

 

4. Maintenance and debugging

    Through the RS485 interface, the local parameter setting and maintenance debugging can be realized

 

5. Remote time calibration

    Support for remote time calibration through the system platform

FAQ

Q: Can the data collector DTU panel directly reflect the current working state of the device?

A: Yes, there are three status indicators on the collector panel, namely the network status indicator, the platform server connection status indicator and the meter data reading indicator. 

 

Q: Can the DTU collect metering data in the gas meter or water meter?

A: Yes, it is compatible with modbus gas or water meters.

 

Q: When the network is abnormal, will the data be lost?

A: No, we designed a memory chip that can store 2-12 months’ meter data.

 

Q: Do you have APP for the data collector. The DTU/RTU?

A: Since different areas' clients have different using habit, so APP is always customized for clients according to the developing instructions clients give.

 

Q: Can you put our logo on the smart energy meter, DTU and software?

A: Yes, we can put your logo on the meter, data collector(concentrator) and system software.
