Use: The centrifugal separator is used to separate solids from liquids applying centrifugal force. The separation is given by the sedimentation principle, where centripetal acceleration causes denser particles to move outward, radially. The centrifuges guarantee maximum performance in the treatment of milk, which depends largely on the quality and temperature of the product.
Function: We count with open and closed cream separators, of three processes, that are: skim, standardize and clarify milk and juice.
