Thermocouple and gas magnet unit compose a flameout safety protector which widely used in gas

appliance, such as gas cooker, gas oven, gas stove, gas heater and so on.

Working principle:

Thermocouple and gas magnet unit composegas safety protection devices, thermocouple is a

transducercan provide the power, gas magnet unit is a controller.

When thermocouple tips is heated by fire, cold and heat generate thermoelectric power due to

temperature difference, to form closed loop current and make gas magnet unit actuation,opening

gas path.

When the flame is out owing to unexpected reasons, thermocouple rapidly lose potential,gas

magnet unit  lose suction under the action of spring, so close gas path, and play a safety

protection role.
