Property:

2-Acrylamido-2-Methylpropane Sulfonic Acid is a kind of vinyl monomer with sulfonic acid group, which has a good thermal stability. The decomposition temperature can be up to 210 and the temperature of sodium salt copolymer can reach 329~C. Its hydrolysis is very slow in aqueous solution. Sodium salt solution has good anti-hydrolysis performance with high PH value. Under acid condition, the hydrolysis-resistant performance of its copolymer is better than that of polyacrylamide. The monomer can be made into crystal or sodium salt solution.
