Q: What mobile devices are supported? A: It is compatible with iOS devices that have Bluetooth 4.0 LE hardware and running iOS 7.0 or later (iPhone 4S or newer, iPod Touch 5G or newer, iPad 3G or newer, iPad minis). It is also compatible with Android devices that have Bluetooth 4.0 hardware and running Kit Kat (4.4) version of the Android operating system (including Samsung Galaxy S4 or newer, HTC One or newer, and several more).
Q: What type of battery does your Padlock use? A: Our Padlock uses a standard lithium battery that is easy to find at retail.
Q: What happens if the battery dies while the padlock is locked? A: Our mobile app will show you the battery level each time you use it, so you’ll know when it is time to replace the battery. However, if the battery dies while Padlock is in the locked position, you can “jump-start” your padlock with an external battery while your authorized device is within range. This will allow you to unlock it and replace the dead battery.
Q: Is your Padlock waterproof? A: Our Padlock has an IP66 rating and is built to withstand tough environments and weather conditions. It is water-resistant, but not waterproof. Meaning, it will withstand rain and snow but not submersion in water.
Q: How long does your smart lock stand by? A:Generally Speaking,our smart lock can stand by for 6 months when the battery is fully charged.
Q: What if the customer cannot unlock your smart lock,what should we do?A:You should operate as our below steps to check the problem of unlock: Firstly,Confirm whether there is electricity, if there is no electricity, charge for three minutes; Secondly,Try to change the fingerprint, or use the mobile phone Bluetooth to unlock; Thirdly,Moisten your fingers with a wet tissue and try again. Wipe the fingerprint head when it is dry in winter; Fourthly,Pull the lock beam synchronously when the padlock is unloked; Fifthly,While unlocking, gently tap the side of the lock with a small wooden hammer. Finally,If the lock still cannot be opened, it is recommended that the customer return to the factory for repair after damage.
