Reduced iron powder, gray or black powder, also known as "double sucking agent", can absorb water and oxygen from the air, often used in food preservation.

Reduced iron  powder is usually reduced by hydrogen gas or carbon monoxide flow in tje condition of high heat , and its main component is iron with loose structure . The surface of the reduced iron powder has been powdered and  its micro structure is very loose, so its surface is very active. It is often used as a high quality reducing agent in chemical production and laboratory work.

The application of  reduced iron powder

 1.Reduced  iron powder used in powder metallurgy products occupies 60%~80% of the total amount of reduced iron powder.

2.The welding process of the electrode can be improved by adding into 10 to 70% iron powder in the surface of the welding strip, and the efficiency of the cladding can be greatly improved.

The reduced iron powder used in chemical industry is mainly used in chemical catalyst, precious metal reduction, alloy addition, copper replacement and so on.

 3.Cutting stainless steel iron powder and cutting iron products into oxygen acetylene flame can improve cutting performance, expanding  the range of cutting steel and improve the cutting thickness.
