The protection circuit board you need to buy must be same cells in series as your battery pack.What material is your battery? Only the LiFePo4 battery has different electric parameter from other battery, so if you need buy the protection circuit board for LiFePo4 battery , Please let us know firstly.
Q: Do we need cell balance or not?
A: The function of balance : Since battery is made of many pcs of cells in parallel and in series, the cells can't be the same as no two people in the world is the same , so can only put in group with similar performance is not consistent , which will lead to each cell voltage is not consistent as well after the completion of the charging if without balance fun
