How much does one have to make to be able to purchase a PP Natils responsibly?
Okay I’m exaggerating a little here but let me explain you why money isn’t the issue here.
Here is a simple fact : this watch is one of the hottest and most sought after on the market.
Right now, it is almost sold twice its retail price on the secondary hand market. How crazy it that? If you want it, get it! If, for whatever reason you need that money that you spent, you can always sell it! Best part? You would have made a huge profit. Therefore money shouldn’t be taken into account while considering a watch of that caliber.
Getting a Ptk Philip at retail price will always be a good decision from a financial point of view, independently of how much you are earning. Hell, you should even get one if you are not earning a lot, reselling it will give you the easiest 20k you ever made!
That being said, as a huge Natils fan myself (I explained it more in depth here: Marc Montagne's answer to What is the significance of your Patek Phillippe watch in your life?) I wish those watches would be more often seen on the wrists of true watch fans rather than in the safes of flippers just trying to make a quick buck.
