1. Application of washing powder
The decontamination test shows that in the non-phosphorus laundry powder with LAS and AOS as the anionic active ingredients, the decontamination is significantly improved when the proportion of the anionic active component of AOS is greater than 20%. The decontamination synergy of AOS in phosphorus-free laundry powder is more prominent than that in phosphorus-containing powder.
2. Application of soap
Adding AOS can increase the solubility of soap in water, and the wetting power and foaming power of soap liquid at low temperature will also increase rapidly. Increased foaming power, increased resistance to hard water, increased flexibility, and less prone to cracking
3. Liquid detergent application
Due to the characteristics of AOS in decontamination, hard water resistance, viscosity, etc., AOS has a wide range of applications in liquid detergents with high active ingredients
4. Personal Care Products Application
AOS is as mild as AES, while LAS and AS are much more irritating than AOS. Therefore, AOS has a wide range of uses in personal care products. Shampoos with AOS as the main active ingredient have better foaming properties than K12.
5. Other applications
AOS has a wide range of applications in the textile printing and dyeing industry, petrochemicals, tertiary oil recovery, and industrial cleaning. AOS can be used as a concrete density improver, foaming wallboard, fire fighting foam. It can also be used as pesticide emulsifier, wetting agent, etc.
