Anticorrosive Primer
Anti Rust Primer is an epoxy resin-based anticorrosive primer that is applied directly to all metal surfaces and protects the surface it is applied against corrosion thanks to its high anticorrosive structure. In addition to excellent adhesion, it dries quickly and is easy to work with.
USAGE AREAS:
Suitable for use as an anti-corrosive primer on all metal surfaces where corrosion resistance is required. It is also used for corrosion protection of concrete structures. It is used as a primer before applications of Isonem Ant fire Paint Plus for Steel Structures 120 min Fire Resistant Paint and Isonem Thermal Paint PU Roof and Metal Surface Heat Insulation Paint.
Surface preparation: Application surfaces should be cleaned from foreign objects which reduce adhesion like oil, dust, dirt, etc., and completely dry and clean. Metal surfaces should be sandblasted at least Sa 2 ½ degree and they should be primed with Isonem Anti Rust Primer within 6 hours. After hard drying of the primer is completed (5 - 6 hours later), It is proceed to topcoat application. It should be noted that temperatures of materials are min. +15°C before application. Component A is mixed with a low-speed mixer with the appropriate mixing tip and hardener component B is added while continue mixing. Care should be taken to ensure that the walls and bottom of the container are mixed well and that the mixture is homogeneous.
Application Method: It is produced in ready-to-use sets according to mixing ratios. No thinning is required. After the mixture is rested for 10-15 minutes, it is applied with a short hard bristle brush, short hair roller or airless spray. When the second coat application is required, the application of the second coat should be done when the surface of the first coat dries. If this time has elapsed, the surface should be roughened before the topcoat application.

PACKING: 5 kg set (Component A 4,5 kg canister, Component B 0,5 kg canister)
SHELF LIFE: 24 months from date of production if stored in original, unopened, undamaged packages.
STORAGE CONDITIONS: Store tightly closed in a dry and cool place away from heat and fire.
