The creative interlocking floor tile also called DIY floor tile or decking floor tile, is a new design building material generated from the traditional floor tiles, anti slip resistant, easy and quick install, no tools or skill, no cement or adhesive needed.
What you need to do is just lock the slots onto the corresponding tabs onto another carpet tile and repeat this simple “Click clack action”.
Installation
STEP 1: Prepare the surface
Interlocking Tiles can be placed on most hard surfaces. However, it's important that the surface is as smooth as possible, with no bumps, large cracks, uneven areas or surface depressions that would allow the Decking Tiles to "rock" in place.
STEP 2: Plan Your Design
It's easy to create unique patterns, designs and borders by using a combination of different tile styles. You can sketch your design on paper to try various design combinations. The possibilities are endless!
STEP 3: Lock the Tiles into Position
Start by placing an Interlocking Tile in the corner of the area that you want to cover, making sure the two sides of the tile with the tabs showing are facing outwards in the direction you will be laying the tiles.
STEP 4: Completing Your Project
You can generally avoid cutting Interlocking Tiles where you need to fit around fixed objects, odd shaped areas or against walls simply by filling in the gaps or spaces with medium sized pebbles, volcanic rock or other landscaping material.

A. Practically any solid, even (not bumpy) surface e.g. courtyards, balconies, patios, porches, roof tops, hot tub surrounds, pool surrounds, garden paths, boat decks, gazebos, sun rooms, basements…..anywhere you would like a beautiful wood deck or floor.
Q: Can the tiles be used in extremely cold conditions?
A. The tiles are specifically chosen for low water absorption properties to minimize the danger of cracking in freeze/thaw situations. For the plastic base, we use a polymer mix which consists mainly of polyethylene with some polypropylene added for extra stiffness. Polyethylene can be used extremely cold conditions without becoming excessively brittle.
Q. Can they be used in extremely hot locations?
The polyethylene base can withstand temperatures up to 60 degrees C without any problem.
Q. Are the tiles affected by water or heavy rainfall?
A. Due to the gaps between the tiles, any water drains away quickly and freely via the open plastic mesh base underneath the slats or the tiles.Anti slip,No water remains trapped or in extended contact with the wood.
Q. Can the tiles be laid directly on bare earth?
A. We do not recommend laying the interlocking tile range on bare earth.
Q. Can I use the tiles indoors?
A. Certainly. However you should take care that if any crumbs or other food particles fall in the gaps between the wood slats, they are vacuumed away promptly.
Q. Can the tiles be laid over an existing weathered wood deck?
A. Provided the surface and supporting framework are structurally sound and the surface is even, the tiles are an ideal and cost effective way to bring an existing deck back to its former glory.
Q. Can the tiles be laid directly on rooftops covered with a rubber or bituminous membrane?
A. The pressure on the tile base is distributed in such a way that no damage to membranes will normally occur. However if you wish to take further precautions, we suggest laying down an additional membrane or EPDM sheet before the tiles are laid.
