Thermo Sensor

A thermocouple is a sensor for measuring temperature. It consists of two dissimilar metals joined together at one end. When the junction of the two metals is heated or cooled, a voltage is produced that can interpreted by a temperature controller. There are many types of thermocouples, type J, K, T, & E are the most common types (Base Metal), and type R, S, and B thermocouples are used in high temperature applications (Nobal Metal).

They could be manufactured in different styles, such as thermocouple probes, thermocouple probes with connectors, transition joint thermocouple probes, bare wire thermocouple or even just thermocouple wire.

APPLICATION
Cartridge heater is the heater for metal block (dies or molds etc.), which uses Ni80Cr20 alloy heating coil as heating element, heat-resistant magnesium oxide as insulation, and heat-resistant alloy material as outer sheath. It's small but with quick and precise heating. A temperature controller could be used inside the cartridge heater to realize real-time temperature feedback and control.
