Flint Clay is a high quality hard refractory clay. The raw ore is gray and gray black, with fine structure and high hardness. It is not dispersed in water and has low plasticity. It's formed by the calcination of the pyrogemite ore at high temperature. The content of Al2O3 in the calcined pyrogem is about 44%, and the content of Fe2O3 is not more than 2%.Stable composition, uniform texture, compact structure, low water absorption, shell shaped section, white, used to produce high quality clay refractory. The technical term is grade I hard clay clinker, the main chemical components are Al2O3 and SiO2, and a small amount of Fe2O3 and trace of Na2O and K2O are kaolin.
