1) 4 pieces of solar energy double wave panels installed on board (see arrangement drawing for details), power capacity of each panel is 200W, 800W in total. Daily charging capacity is 640W of total 4 pieces solar panel in sufficient sunlight condition. The solar energy panels supply electricity for 4 pieces of 160mAh maintenance free batteries. The capacity of batteries is 7680W, it takes 12 hours to get the four 160mAh batteries fully charged.
2) Two sets of 3hp electric outboard motor installed on the stern of the boat, for use of going in and out port. Four 160mAh batteries provide 100 minutes operation time for the 2 sets of 3Hp motor in normal condition. Assuming that each time going in and out port takes 15 minutes, the boat can go for more than 3 back and forth trips with batteries fully charged.
3) The boat adopts water to replace the traditional aluminium block as ballast, which has better guaranteed the safety factor of the boat and made her a real “tumbler”. The boat has shorter production period by using modular manufacturing. She is built out of fiberglass reinforced material, with 10% lighter in weight compared with other same type boats. Her gravity center is also much lower, which makes her speed much higher.
