Tube Ice or tubular ice is a tube-shapde ice with hole inside, the standard diameters are 25,30,35,40. special dimenisions are welcome. Tube ice is usually used for human consumption, adding into beverage, liquor, etc.It should be food grade,all the parts which contact with water are made of food-grade stainless steel 304. corrosion-resistent.
The tube ice generator is acutally bunch of SS 304 tubes. Water film down on the inner surface the tubes, While refrigerant evaporate outside, freezing water into ice. The ice tube gets more and more thick while the hole gets smaller. We can control the ice making time to set the diameter of hole.
During harvst time, hot gas will be sent and heat the evaporator. the outside of Ice will melt and slide down. Ice cutter under will cut them into sections at the right length.
This evaporator is Ammonium-based designed, it has everything except refrigeration system. it can work as it is connected with a refrigeration unit.
