Third, characteristics

White translucent bulk or cylindrical pieces. Density: 1.035g/cm³. Soluble in ethanol, isopropoxide, benzene, methylbenzene, chloroform and carbon oxide. Absorb the moisture easily and resolve to aluminum hydroxide and isopropoxide when react with water.

 

Fourth, usage

The product is one of the raw materials for  medical intermediates like isophytol, testosterone, 16-17A-Epoxyprogesterone, progesterone, androstenedione, ethisterone and aluminate coupling agent. Used as material of ink thickener- Fatty Acid Al-O six ring compounds AOC18, and used as active catalyst and carrier. Used as reducing agent, dehydrating agent and waterproofing agent.

 

Fifth, storage

Stored sealed in dark, cool and dry place with excellent ventilation. Keep away from direct sunlight. Once open the drum, use it up, exposed in the air for long time is not allowed.
