The Strizhament Distillery continues the traditions laid down more than 150 years ago. Today it is one of the most equipped in Russia with the production of Infusions, Extracts, Aromatic Alcohols,Balms and Vodkas. Unique equipment has been installed at Strizhament and a team of highly qualified specialists has been created. The production uses only natural raw materials, herbs collected in the foothills of the North Caucasus and the Urals, Berries and Fruits are purchased from world leaders. The ecologically clean atmosphere of protected areas and the wild growth of raw materials excludes not only the use of chemical fertilizers, but also any other negative human intervention. The result of this process is a bio-organic product "BIO-ORGANIC", without synthetic additives, dyes and flavors.




History of the plant


The history of the Strizhament plant began in 1868, when Ivan Antonovich Alafuzov, a merchant of the 1st guild, built the first distillery in Stavropol, which was then the main city of the North Caucasus. In Soviet times, the plant was called "Stavropol Distillery" (20-30-ies of the XX century), then it became "Voroshilov Vodka Factory" and in 1953 it was named "Stavropol Distillery of the North Caucasian Liquor Trust of the Glavspirt of the Ministry of Light and Food Industry of the USSR". It was an ordinary regional plant, but everything changed with the appointment of Tamara Longinovna Karlova as director in 1964. She managed to make the plant the most famous in the Soviet Union. Under the leadership of Karlova, Stavropol LVZ was equipped with the most modern equipment, and in 1977 a unique tincture "Strizhament"was created. First, on the instructions of M. S. Gorbachev created a tincture called "Jubilee" for the 200th anniversary of Stavropol, which, at the suggestion of Karlova, was later changed to the sonorous "Strizhament", and the new tincture became so popular that the plant itself was renamed the Strizhament distillery. The whole Soviet Union knew this name. The products have gained national popularity, up to the highest echelons of power. The very name "Strizhament" is associated with the historical name of the mountain near Stavropol. The remarkable history of the Strizhament trademark, firmly connected with the military and labor glory of the USSR and Russia, continues in our time. The famous tinctures, balms, liqueurs and vodkas are produced in Stavropol on modern equipment from fruits, berries and herbs collected in ecologically clean areas of the North Caucasus.


Production Laboratory



Everything that comes to the plant, everything that is produced at it and everything that is sent from the plant to consumers is strictly controlled by the production laboratory of the enterprise. Our laboratory is accredited — the state has entrusted us with the research of any alcoholic products, including other manufacturers. The laboratory is equipped with precise modern equipment. The pride of our specialists is a gas chromatograph, which allows you to determine the composition of the product and all the impurities that are in it. The whole process is completely computerized. The laboratory has everything you need to conduct complex chemical research. Certified specialists constantly improve the recipe of products, develop new varieties, find the most interesting combinations of herbs, juices, infusions and aromatic alcohols, which get to a professional tasting, where the best are collectively selected. Product quality control is entrusted to the Expert Council of the plant's veterans.
