Lipidomarine has a wide range of biological activity:
• enhance the immune response;
• stimulate hematopoietic processes;
• are competitive inhibitors of protein kinase C and fibroblast growth factor, the activity of which contributes to the growth of certain types of malignant tumors;
• are precursors in the biosynthesis of plasmalogens.
Plasmalogens (PL) are a special subclass of phospholipids, which are one of the necessary compounds for the normal functioning of the brain. PL account for approximately 18% of all phospholipids in the human body. However, their content in the tissues and types of cells of the body is different, the largest number of submarines is observed in brain cells and reaches a maximum by 30 years, then there is a decrease in their number. The importance of plasmalogens is difficult to overestimate.
