3. Production process
As mentioned above, there are two main types of galvanized wire, electro-galvanized steel wire and hot-dip galvanized steel wire. To produce these two product lines need to go through the following processes.
Step 1: Continuous pulling process (Pull the rope).
– From steel wire D6, D8, D10, D12 undergo continuous pulling process to produce diameters from 1ly to 5ly.
Step 2: Cleaning process.
– To be able to produce zinc steel wire, it is necessary to undergo the process of cleaning impurities, cleaning the surface of the steel wire and removing rust. After removing impurities, the material is incubated, creating a dry surface.
Step 3: Electro-galvanizing or hot-dip galvanizing process.
– The next step to create a translucent steel wire product, the raw material is electro-galvanized. Similar to the production of polished steel wire, the raw material is hot-dip galvanized.
Step 4: Finished product
– After creating the finished product, the rope is knitted into a roll. Depending on the rope diameter, the weight of kg / roll ranges from 25kg - 50kg.
4. Applications
Galvanized steel wire is widely used in industrial production fields; agriculture, forestry and fishery, handicrafts, electricity,
information and civil.
