How does NMN work?
About Us
We, the AFEGA Research Group, are a group of scientists from Germany, France, Austria and Switzerland (including biologists, psychologists and a beautician), who, inspired by the groundbreaking research of Prof. David Sinclair, conduct their own studies on anti-aging and, above all, on the effective anti-aging substances David discovered. Prof. Sinclair obtains his results on the basis of experiments with animals (especially mice).
We test the different substances (especially NMN) to ourselves, our relatives and friends. These are regular scientific studies (ie studies that are based on scientific standards), but these are carried out "on a private basis", so to speak.
A short remark about anti-aging: So far, this mainly meant 'cosmetic products of often / most dubious effectiveness' - at least, if you would trust test reports.

| Q. Shelf life and storage/refrigeration |
A. It is completely sufficient if you keep your NMN in the refrigerator. The amount you have bought is likely to be 'for immediate use' anyway. If you should buy more, it makes sense to store it in the freezer for longer periods of time.
Of course, we store our NMN stocks in the freezer. As a rule, we receive one delivery per month. The NMN we deliver is therefore very 'fresh' in view of the fact that the supplier gives a quality guarantee for two full years when stored at -21 degrees. |
| Q. Dosage |
A. There is actually no dose that you can recommend as it is a matter of taste. If you wanted to take as much NMN as Sinclair gives his mice (which has amazing effects) you would need to ingest about 40g per day. That would be dangerous as we don't know the side effects of this amount.
Please note: NMN is not a drug. It is therefore not particularly important to pay attention to an exact dosage. If you take 0.75 g today and 1.5 g tomorrow, it doesn't matter. On average, it should be what you set out to do. You really don't need a measuring spoon. If you are buying a 16g bag, take a small spoon (if necessary, a plastic spoon from a yogurt pot) and scoop everything out of the bag, counting. Then you know how much fits on a spoon. |
| Q. Is NMN / Resveratrol vegan / organic? |
| A. NMN is a derivative of vitamin B3. Vitamin S Likewise substances for which it makes no sense to ask whether they are vegan ore bio. If this is not the case then maybe this is just a matter of time. |
| Q. Your NMN is from China. How can I be sure that it is not contaminated with heavy metals or germs? |
| A. All NMN in the world (currently) comes from China, simply because it can be produced there more cheaply. No other provider in the world / on the net checks the NMN they supply more rigorously than we do. |
| Q. I would like to know who your supplier is or who your suppliers are. (You claim: everything NMN in the world comes from China at the moment!) |
