GREEN SEAWEED AND WHY IT IS GOOD FOR YOUR FARM

Or better known as Ulva lactuca, or sea lettuce is a thin flat green algae growing from a discoid holdfast. Green seaweed has a various of real-life applications which includes animal feeding, plant fertilizer, etc. Its effect in term of animal feeding has been scientifically proven to be extremely positive. According to a research by Alaeldein et al in Italian Journal of Animal Science (2013),  broiler chickens with seaweed incoporated in their diet yield heavier breasts compared to chickens without green seaweed in their diet. Thus, green seaweed powder can potentially impact broiler chicken diet for a healthier, better production result. Another effect of green seaweed is its capability to reduce cow burp. In fact, cow burps contain methane which is a greenhouse gas 30 times more potent than CO2. Thus, protecting the environment helps strengthen CSR which will be beneficial for your company in the long term.
