1) Origin and characteristics:
The cashew tree, scientifically known as Anacardium occindentale, is a tropical tree that produces cashew seed and apples. The cashew seeds have a curvy shape with a wooden red shell. Kentary cashew nuts are grown and harvested in Vietnam. The low temperature soft drying process is made with heat pump technology which helps to retain nutrients in aliments. Then they are lightly roasted to give a delicate smoky taste and crunchy aspect. They contain no additives, no chemicals and no GMO.
