Material: Japanese dried kelp

Our kelp is grown in the nutritious seawater produced by the rich natural environment of Hokkaido.
Kelp is an integral part of Japanese cuisine.
It contains "glutamic acid," which is an umami ingredient and can be used in cooking as a soup stock (by boiling the kelp), or the kelp itself can be eaten as an ingredient.




It is a healthy food that is low in calories and contains dietary fiber and minerals.
About 10% of the dry weight is made up of water-soluble dietary fiber specific to seaweeds such as "alginic acid" and "fucoidan".
It is said to have functions such as decreasing blood pressure and blood sugar level and decreasing the absorption of cholesterol and triglyceride.
It is also said that eating kelp leads to improvement of the digestive system and can be expected to improve your immune system.
Calcium contained in kelp has a function to help the formation of teeth and bones and is one of the essential minerals for maintaining and adjusting the functions of the body.

Cumulative domestic sales in 2021 were 2.5 million bags.
