Premium & Organic Medium Couscous - Traditional COUS COUS Durum Wheat Pasta Giuseppe Verdi Selection
Premium is the Couscous Martino line dedicated to those looking for the best: steam cooking, top quality cereals, unique organoleptic and nutritional characteristics for an all-Italian taste.
Raw material used in the production of couscous is durum WHEAT semolina. The semolina, mixed with water to obtain the characteristics grains of couscous, is slowly cooked, dried and air-cooled.

Preparation: Pour 250 ml of water in a large saucepan, add 1 tablespoonful of oil and 1 teaspoonful of salt and bring to boil. Remove from heat. Pour in 250 g (8 oz.) of couscous and stir. Cover and allow to steep for 5 minutes. Stirring with a fork to separate the grains.

How a vision becomes a successful reality
This mix of colours and smells must have triggered something in Donato Martino's mind. In 1870, with a simple yet brilliant intuition, he customises his water mills and lets his son Andrea take care of the activity.
Andrea Martino collects his father's idea and in 1904 he establishes the first pasta factory of the family, taking the first step into the century-old history that is still ongoing. In fact, Andrea Martino is the first of four generations of owners of this company, which nowadays represents a winning exam­ple of Made in Italy. It is a company that can successfully face the challenge of modernity, because it can count on the lessons learnt by its tradition.
Growing and Innovating
In 1978 Pasquale Martino inherits from his father, Nicola, the knowledge and secrets of wheat, giving further value to an already hlgh quality product. Thanks to his remarkable entrepreneurial ability, he starts an unprecedented industria! development and, with extremely brilliant foresight, he decides to convert the production from pasta to Couscous.
It's 1994 and Martino becomes the first Italian Couscous producer. The unique quality of the raw materials, 100% Made in Italy, becomes the distinctive element of this successful history, launching the company on the global market.

In 2008 Emma Martino takes the lead of the company. She belongs to the fourth generation of entrepreneurs and she is the first woman to be in charge. With her father on her side, Pasquale, she tenaciously and briliiantly takes care of a century-old tradition of high quality products and upright values.
She is responsible far introducing a new strategy of differentiation of the products, linked to the arising new consumers' needs. This innovation allows the company to increase and develop new global markets.

In 2016 Martino's family decides to implement a new line of conventional and gluten free Couscous. This leads the company to more than double its production capacity, becoming one of the industry leaders.
Nowadays, SIPA INTERNATIONAL is a sector leader and it is present in all aver the world thanks to its products high quality and to the attentionto the always changing custumers needs. The company production site is in Molise, region of Italy, surrrounded by nature near Matese Mountain. Here, thanks to the spring water, the company obtains his technically and qualitatively genui­ne products.

GV SRL was founded in 2017 after important Fair tests on our products and we got many AWARDS (8 awards in London at BELLAVITA FOOD SHOW). Gabriele Zecca is the founder and he has been in food business since 1991. We have our private label GVERDI as premium line. We have selected also a RETAIL range of product with very interesting pricing point. We have more than 500 products food and wine. In few months we will reach 3000. we sell in Europe, Canada, Singapore, Russia and we have many open negotiation in all the world due too our interesting offer for HORECA and RETAIL MARKET. We are based in Parma in the FOOD VALLEY in ITALY (South of Europe) and we have a warehouse of 100.000 m2 capability. We sell also PRIVATE LABEL products of our clients in many categories.
