Product Description
How do you use a cast iron casserole for the first time?
To use a cast iron casserole for the first time, you should follow these steps:
1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2.Wash the casserole with hot, soapy water and dry it thoroughly.
3.Apply a thin layer of vegetable oil or melted shortening to the inside and outside of the casserole.
4.Place the casserole in the preheated oven for one hour.
5.Turn off the oven and let the casserole cool completely in the oven before removing it.
6.Wipe off any excess oil with a paper towel.
Your cast iron casserole is now ready to use!
