The Dräger Alcotest® 6000, a device that allows active use (the subject blows into the breathalyzer) or passive use (measurement in the ambient air) 

The Dräger Alcotest® 6000 is a breathalyser equipped with an electrochemical sensor intended for personal or professional use. Easy to operate, all features required for a measurement are activated by a single button. Navigation is done using two menu buttons. The breathalyzer can measure the alcohol level directly when the person breathes into the device or in the ambient air, without having to use a mouthpiece. In addition, the Slide ‘n’Click mouthpiece offers the most hygienic protection with a secure air outlet since there is a non-return valve which prevents air inhalation through the mouthpiece.
Warm-up time is very low; the Dräger Alcotest® 6000 is ready to use in just 2 seconds after it is switched on and the results are displayed on a backlit screen in just 3 seconds following the measurement. Also, an audible alarm completes the display to indicate that the measurement procedure is complete. The alarm can also notify the consumer if the device requires maintenance. In addition, the device allows storing and numbering the last 500 tests.
