Has held positions as professor at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (Key Laboratory of Mental Health) and as inspector at the international organic certification body QAI (Quality Assurance International), and conducts biological research into in behavioral biology and human symbiotic coexistence.
In 2009, commenced role as advisor to NS Bio Japan, conducting research and directing the manufacturing of products related to NS lactic acid bacteria.
