With the demand for high-precision product finish in screen printing, squeegees are one of the important components that influence quality.
Ink must be pressed evenly against a plate, and urethane rubber squeegees, which are elastic bodies with wear resistance, are often used.
In addition to wear resistance, solvent resistance, and impact resilience are also desired as required performance.
Ester-based urethane rubber is generally used for solvent resistance, but it is not suitable since it is inferior to ordinary ones.
Moreover, since ester-based urethane rubber has poor impact resilience, it is extremely difficult to design a material that has both solvent resistance and impact resilience.
We had solved these difficult conditions and developed a new material for squeegees. We also developed anti-static and ultra-wear resistant squeegees, and including these new materials, we made a lineup of squeegees with materials and hardness suitable for each application.
