Product parameters
Molecular Formula: ALNH4(SO4)2.12H2O
Properties: Colorless to white crystals, or crystalline powder, flakes, blocks. Odorless, astringent astringent, melting point
93.5 ℃. When heated to 250 ° C, the crystal water is removed to become a white powder, that is, burnt alum. If it exceeds 280
degrees, it will decompose and release ammonia gas. It is soluble in water (15g solubility at 20 ℃), dilute acid and glycerin. The
aqueous solution is acidic and insoluble in ethanol.

It is mainly used in baking powder processing, fried food, vermicelli production, jelly fish pickling, keeping fresh and crisp,
protecting color of the fruit and vegetable, water treatment, protecting environment, disinfection, rubber, leather, washing
powder, feed processing and pencil processing etc.

5.Product applications (As water purifier and leavening agent widely used in drinking water treatment, industrial sewage
treatment, paper making, oilfield exploiting industries and so on.)
Main applications of Ammonium Aluminum Sulfate:
1. Analytical reagents, mordants, water purifiers, used in the manufacture of pigments, copper plating, clarifiers, washing powder
processing, feed processing, pencil making;
2. The clarifying agent uses water purification coagulant, printing and dyeing mordant, leather-making aluminum filler, paper
sizing agent, yellow glass coloring agent, food leavening agent, etc .;
3. Because it does not contain crystal water, it can absorb the water in other raw materials in the mixed leavening agent to
become crystal water to maintain the quality of the leavening agent. The dissolution rate in water and the reaction with sodium
bicarbonate are very slow, so it can maintain the gas production effect for the expected time.
4. Used for the purification of raw water and groundwater and the treatment of industrial water.
5. The product has a high purity of 99.995%. The crystal is transparent and can be calcined into high-purity alumina powder. It is
widely used in high-pressure sodium lamps, precision ceramic workpieces, catalyst carriers, grinding and polishing, artificial
sapphire crystal growth materials and other aspects.
