Camellia Oleifera Oil is an oil product obtained by pressing the seeds of Camellia oleifera, also known as Camellia Seed Oil, Camellia Oil, Bitter Camellia Oil, and Tsubaki Oil. Camellia Oleifera Oil, coconut oil, olive oil and palm oil are the four major vegetable oils in the world.

Among vegetable oils, Camellia Oleifera Oil has one of the highest monounsaturated fatty acid contents. It is characterized by high oleic acid content, reaching 75% to 85%, ranking the top among all kinds of edible oils.

Camellia oil is edible and therapeutic oil, and it is recorded in many Chinese medical pharmacopoeias for medicinal purposes. The history of edible camellia oil in China began in the period in BC.

Camellia Oleifera Oil is no less nutritious than other vegetable oils including olive oil, its monounsaturated fatty acid content is as high as 80%, and it contains tea polyphenols and camellia glycosides, rich in VE, carotene, squalene, and other functional components.For cooking, Camellia Oleifera Oil has a wider adaptability, and it can be used for frying, stewing, baking, and cold dressing. The advantages of high temperature resistance and high smoke point are more suitable for Asian cooking than olive oil and can reduce kitchen fumes.
