ISONEM MS SCREED

(Cement Based Self Propagating Leveling Screed)

Product Description

It is a cement-based floor leveling screed that can be applied in a thickness of 1 - 5 mm and is resistant to cracking and shrinkage.

-        It is resistant to cracking and shrinkage.

-        It is self-propagating and levelling.

-        It has high adherence to the applied surface.

Usage Areas

·        It is used before topcoat coating on grounds exposed to medium and heavy pedestrian traffic,

·        Before bonding ceramic, marble, parquet, carpet and PVC coatings

·        For leveling indoor rough surfaces of 1 and 5 mm.

Application Procedure

Preparation of surface: Care should be taken to ensure that the surface is solid, bearing, dust-free and clean. Any oil, grease, rust and paraffin residues that will reduce the adherence should be cleaned and there must be no loose parts. Defects on the surface must be repaired. Air flow should be prevented in the application area. In large areas, cladding should be done and application levels should be determined in order to prevent elevation difference. ISONEM MS SCREED leveling screed should be primed with ISONEM D 10 LATEX in order to extend the processing time of the leveling screed, to provide high adherence to the application floor; to minimize the possible air bubbles. ISONEM D10 LATEX is applied to the surface with a brush without thinning at 200 mL / m². The main application should be started immediately after the application, within 30-40 minutes at the latest while it is wet.

Preparing mixing: The appropriate amount of water is poured into a clean bucket. The material is slowly added to the mixing bucket and mixed with a low speed mixer for 3-4 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. After resting for about 2 minutes, it is made ready for use by mixing again for 30 seconds.

Mixture ratios: For a Bag of 20 kg: 4,8 liters of water

Application method: The prepared mortar propagates itself. The thickness of the material is adjusted with a notched trowel. During setting, no water should be added, the air on the surface should be taken with a spiked roller. Sudden temperature changes that may occur in the application environment should be prevented. Application should not be made in areas exposed to sun and wind effects.
