The History
In the post-war period, Romeo Bovone, after gaining experience in renowned pastry shops, took over a small confectionery company in the Novese region, known for its long-standing confectionery traditions.
The company grew in production and sales with the involvement of his daughter Silvana and son-in-law Luigi Mangini. In 1981, the company, now named "Mangini," moved to Bosco Marengo (Piedmont) and became known for its high-quality products and innovative processes, while preserving traditional confectionery expertise.
In 1985, Mangini launched "Noblesse," a soft bonbon with dark chocolate and liquor cream. Later, the successful "Il Noccioletto" was introduced—a hazelnut coated in milk chocolate, popular with coffee or as a welcome treat. Another hit was the "Bye Bye" mini candy line, offering great taste with fewer calories.
Today, Mangini continues to honor artisanal traditions, blending them with modern technology and a focus on sustainability.
