Product Description
Sanfor rubber belt for fabric shrinkage.
Key features
• A true endless rubber belt without a sense of rotation that strikes out the possibility of internal cracks.
• A particular type of rubber that shows a “gummy” surface with major friction upon the fabric assuring a higher shrinkage if compared to current articles on the market under the same parameters. Both its elasticity and high temperature resistance allow it to prolong the gaps between surface grindings.
• The constant hardness and other mechanical features during the use of the belt guarantee an optimum shrinking action through time.
• Thanks to a specific production line, according to ISO 9001 rules, a material without hidden defects and impurities has been developed.
• Our technical innovations and solutions both in the compound and in the production process assure a decidedly superior quality and highly competitive prices.

Not all sanforizing process requests same features, this is why A.Piovan have developed different rubber compounds for different kinds of fabrics sanforized, in order to have different shrinking performance:
• STANDARD: denim, workwear, bottom fabrics, focused on high shrinking ability and long lifetime (hardness 38-40 sh).
• FABRIC: light cotton also if mixed with polyester viscose, for clothes and home textile, focused on gentle shrinking ability, surface that avoids elephant skin on fabrics (hardness 38-40 sh).
• POLYESTER-VISCOSE-KNITTING: knitting fabrics and very light polyester-viscose fabrics, focused on a surface easier to grind smoothly in order to avoid watermarks on fabrics (hardness 40-44 sh).
• SUPATEX BELT: rubber belt with inner plies for Supatex machine, outside compound that resists to temperature and endless inner plies for a long and constance action.
• COMFIT BELT: for compacting, focused on gentle shrinking ability, surface that avoids elephant skin on fabrics, thickness 50-55 sh (different development available).

In few years it has become the major supplier of tannery machine manufactures and today it is doubtless the worldwide leader. The company works for many other sectors such as the iron and steel industry, the paper, textile and packaging ones. It can fulfill many different needs of customers thanks to a deep study of rubber compounds made within the factory.
At present A.Piovan has 45 employers, it works on a covered surface of 7500 sqm and produces roller coverings and technical articles in rubber, polyurethane and silicone. The state-of-the-art technical office studies the development of new products in cooperation with its customers that are considered the best company's partners.
