About Centella Asiatica
Centella asiatica, commonly known as centella and gotu kola, is a small, and low-lying herbaceous. The leaves and stalk of which contain asiaticoside, madecassoside, madecassic acid and asiatic acid.
In India Gotu kola is used to treat gastrointestinal complaints, psoriasis, leprosy, tuberculosis and STIs.In Western herbal medicine, gotu kola is used internally for oedema and poor circulation in legs, and topically for burns,
cuts, eczema and psoriasis.
In Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicine, gotu kola is antipyretic, diuretic and tonic for the immune and nervous
systems; it is used for convulsions, hair loss, recuperation from trauma, premature ageing, memory loss, learning
impairment, mental disorders, a treatment for liver and skin diseases, and a promoter of longevity.
Centella asiatica, a natural choice
Centella asiatica is part of the guangxi people’s culture. As it is readily available in Guangxi. We decided to work on centella asiatica with a natural momentum. The researched performed on centella asiatica continue to confirm the empirical uses made of this plant by local people.
Today, we are developing our extracts with two main sources of centella asiatica: local herbs form Guangxi and Yunnan provinces, and Malagasy herb. Indeed, we also import this plant from Madagascar for technical reasons and to answer the requests of our clients.
