Yogurt Fermentation Tank
Chun Nobel's fermentation tank is ideal for fermenting milk in a low-spore environment to prepare yoghurt or rennet. After the desired level of acidity is reached, the yoghurt or rennet is effectively stirred to add and mix the separated whey quickly.
The fermentation tank (to e.g. prepare rennet and yogurt) is fit for a slight overpressure of sterile air to prevent disruption by infection of outside phages or bacteria. The stainless steel stirring mechanism has blades that help to produce both axial and radial flow movements of the rennet or yogurt.
The gate stirring device is entirely produced of solid stainless steel, which applies both the shafts and the stirring blades. Because of this, problems that arise from product remnants being left behind are prevented. This could happen if tubular materials (in stead of solid steel) are used and holes are created by corrosion.
