A: It is compatible with iOS devices that running iOS 7.0 or later (iPhone 4S or newer, iPod Touch 5G or newer, iPad 3G or newer, iPad minis). It is also compatible with Android devices that running Kit Kat (4.4) version of the Android operating system (including Samsung Galaxy S4 or newer, HTC One or newer, and several more).
Q: What type of battery does your Padlock use?
A: Our Padlock uses a standard lithium battery that is easy to find at retail.
Q: What happens if the battery dies while the padlock is locked?
A: Our mobile app will show you the battery level each time you use it, so you’ll know when it is time to replace the battery.
However, if the battery dies while Padlock is in the locked position, you can “jump-start” your padlock with an external battery while your authorized device is within range. This will allow you to unlock it and replace the dead battery

A: Our Padlock has an IP66 rating and is built to withstand tough environments and weather conditions. It is water-resistant, but not waterproof. Meaning, it will withstand rain and snow but not submersion in water.
