This is a commercial grade honeycomb made with aramid fibers. It is coated with a heat resistant phenolic resin. Honeycomb core materials are available from a great variety of raw materials and in a large program of cell sizes and densities. Our carbon fiber and honeycomb sandwich panels are intended for very light weight applications.

We are currently using a Nome x 31b density honeycomb hexagonal core. These panels can be cut and assembled to create three dimensional shapes, such as boxes or storage compartments, and can be used as bulkheads in aerospace and marine application.
