Stainless Steel SS304 Aluminium Pneumatic Actuator 3pc Sanitary Tri Clamp Ball Valve
Application
The Sanitary Hygienic Pneumatic Actuated Ball Valves are used to let the fluid flow or shut off to stop the fluid completely. It has a vertical stainless steel actuator or horizontal aluminum actuator on top of the valve body. The compressed air enters and exhausts from the actuator to drive the valve to open or close automatically.
We adopt 304 and 316L stainless steel material to make the valve reach hygienic grade. Thus It is a very popular fluid flow
control component in all kinds of production pipeline systems of food, dairy, beverage, wine, pharmaceutical and chemical fluids.
For example, the aluminum pneumatic ball valves in the above photo are applied in the water purification and filtration system.

Configurations:
Working Principle:
1. Spring return single acting pneumatic actuator
When compressed air enter into port A, pistons are forced outwards, making the pinion and valve stem rotate anti clockwise, the valve is open accordingly when air is exhausted from port B
When air pressure at port A is exhausted, springs forces the pistons inwards, making pinion turn clockwise, the valve is closed.
When compressed air enter into port A, pistons are forced outwards, making the pinion and valve stem rotate anti clockwise, the valve is open accordingly when air is exhausted from port B

2. Air / air double acting pneumatic actuator
Compressed air enters the chamber from port A, forces the pistons outwards, the pinion rotate anticlockwise, and valve is open
Compressed air enters the chamber from port B, forces the pistons inwards, the pinion turn clockwise and valve is closed
Compressed air enters the chamber from port A, forces the pistons outwards, the pinion rotate anticlockwise, and valve is open
Compressed air enters the chamber from port B, forces the pistons inwards, the pinion turn clockwise and valve is closed
