Industrial pipe temperature-keeping self regulating heating wire

Product introduction

Electric self-regulating temperature heating cable is the only one of electric thermostatic product of new generation, constructed of a semiconductor heater and two parallel bus wires with the addition of insulation layer. The heating elements are parallel to each other and its resistivity has a high Positive Temperature Coefficient” PTC”.

In each heating tracing band, circuits between the bus wires change with the ambient temperature. As temperature decreases, the heater’s resistance decreases which produces more output wattage; conversely, as temperature increases, resistance increases which lower the output wattage, loop back and forth.

The advantage of electric self-regulating temperature heating cable with other heating tracing products is that the temperature can be regulated automatically in a proper range.

 

Product structure

(1) copper core busbar: 7*0.32, 7*0.42, 7*0.50, 19*0.30, 19*0.42

(2) heating core: common PTC, flame retardant PTC, fluorine containing PTC

(3) insulating layer: modified polyolefin and flame retardant polyolefin

(4) shielding layer: magnesium alloy round wire braided layer, covering density of more than 80%.

(5) sheath layer: modified polyolefin, fluorinated polyolefin and perfluorinated material;

 

Effective Length of Using

8mm wide≤30m  10mm wide≤50m  12mm wide≤100m

1.The roll length of 8mm is 50m or 100m, you can cut at any length you'd like within 30 meters. 

2.The roll length of 10mm is  100m, you can cut at any length you'd like within 50 meters.

  3.The roll length of 12mm is 100m, you can cut at any length you'd like within 100 meters.

4.The roll length of 14mm is  100m, you can cut at any length you'd like within 100 meters. 

Notes while using the heating band:

The two metal wires at the end can't be connected, otherwise the heating band will be short circuited and damage. 
Use the heat shrinkable tapes to wrap the two conductor wires seperately
 Use the band in the recommended limits and make sure the waterproofing process is done
Clean the oil ,water and other contamination where the band passes. Fix the band with tapes every certain distance, and make sure the bend connect to the surface of pipes closely
Keep distance from inflammable substances
